A collection link is a single URL you share with customers to gather reviews. Behind it sits a smart flow: customers rate their experience first, happy ones get help writing a review and are guided to the platform where it counts most, and unhappy ones are routed to a private feedback form instead of a public review.
Creating a link
Go to Collect in the sidebar. You can create a link right from the list - pick the product, name the link, choose the platforms to offer, and optionally add an incentive preset (Gift Card, Charity Donation, or Plant a Tree) - or open the full editor for every option.
The link editor
Open any link to edit it. Settings are grouped into sections:
Basic Information - the Link Name, for your reference only.
Channels - which of your connected platforms reviewers can be sent to, and the Distribution Mode: Balanced spreads reviews evenly across platforms, while Focused (shown as Boost Lowest Rated on the Collect page) prioritizes the platforms where your rating needs the most help.
Behavior - the Positive Rating Threshold (which star ratings count as a positive experience and continue to public review platforms - everything below goes to private feedback), whether to ask for the customer's email and name, and whether to invite reviews on multiple platforms.
Branding - your logo, colors, and font, a Company Name Override, custom CSS, and the option to remove the "Powered by Revly" footer. Branding customization is available on Core and above.
Page Content - override the title and description customers see on the rating page.
Redirect - send customers to a Custom Thank You URL after they finish.
URL Parameter Rules (Team and above) - show different platforms depending on parameters in the link, so one link can serve multiple products or audiences.
Primary Incentive and Bonus Incentive - reward customers for reviewing; see Offering incentives for reviews.
The Your Link panel shows the live URL (like go.revly.io/abc123) with copy and preview buttons. Preview saves your changes and opens the real customer-facing page.
Sharing it
The link works anywhere: post-purchase and onboarding emails, your email signature, support conversation wrap-ups, in-app prompts, or a QR code at an event. The best moment to ask is right after a customer has had a win with your product.
Good to know
Plan limits: Free includes 1 collection link, Core 3, Team 10, and Agency 5 per client.
On Team and above you can serve links from your own domain (like
reviews.yourcompany.com) instead ofgo.revly.io- set it up under Settings, Advanced.Curious what the customer experiences? Walk through What your customers see: the review flow.
